Working as a sculptor for almost 40 years, Bruce demonstrates his versatility with a wide range of products. Not only does he have a variety of bronze sculptures catering to the fine arts community, he also has a number of items of interest to the giftware industry. Bruce began his career making limited edition bronze sculptures sold through art galleries in Hawaii and California. Later, he expanded his product line to include products such a picture frames, clocks, and magnets which were sold in gift shops in Hawaii, Arizona, and New Mexico.
After moving to Las Cruces in 2007, he was encouraged to develop a line of jewelry to include pendants, money clips, bolo ties and belt buckles. His primary inspiration comes from the cultural history of the surrounding community. He also gets many ideas for his creations from his customers at the Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market where you can find him on most Wednesdays and Saturdays. While he sells most of his items at the Farmers Market, his larger bronze sculptures are available at M. Phillips Fine Arts on the downtown mall.
